In March of 2022 I wrote the song 'Peace On Earth' as a reaction to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Four plus months later, this tragic conflict continues to impact the entire world and more terribly it impacts the lives of the Ukrainian people. I continue to be inspired by their fight for sovereignty.

This collection expands upon my thoughts on the futility of war and the awful inhumanity it represents. 'Ashes' tells the story of a girl waking to find she has lost everything she knew. 'Shooting Stars' tells of love in the midst of conflict. 'Where You Gonna Go' gives us some insight into the minds of the invading soldiers expecting to be welcomed as saviors. 'There's A Hole In The Road' imagines the eventual rebuilding and moving on in the face of victory. And the finale of 'Peace On Earth' dreams of a world that recognizes the futility of it all.
