about

A collection of new, original songs from singer-songwriter Bill Ludwig. "One Hundred Miles Of Bad Road" features themes of powerlessness ("Coexist"), existential crisis ("Do You Feel Like I Do?"), hardship ("For Want Of"), redemption ("The Man Who Lost The War") and dreams of freedom ("Road Song").

From the album liner notes:

"all songs written by bill ludwig, summer & fall, 2016 - with the exception of 'the man who lost the war,' which was written in february, 2017 for my father, who is a true american hero

recorded and produced february & march, 2017

one hundred miles of bad road is dedicated to the men and women who risk their lives each and every day around our earth to protect those who are oppressed, to fight for those who are powerless, to expose and hold accountable proponents of hatred, to free those who are wrongly imprisoned, to strengthen those who are weak, to be a light for those who live in darkness, to stand up for those who are scared and to bring those who support the use of terror as an instrument of change to justice."
